The briefest of posts...

...I'm having a party on Saturday (incase I forgot to mention it...) to celebrate my 40th birthday and the fun begins on Thursday, therefore I'm running around like the proverbial blue-bummed beastie, painting a wall here, cleaning a cupboard there, organising shopping lists, cooking, clearing and giving Brian lists. I'll see y'all tomorrow with my soup and stew recipes that I had this week so far. The French Onion soup and Indian Chicken Stew were divine.

PS: I hated to celebrate my 40th, I felt depressed leaving the thirty something. But it gets easier a few years down the road.;)Now I feel young again.;)

Happy Early Birthday!!! And imagine! - You're just in time for the whole, "40's the new 30" era! Coincidence? Well, probably. But still..

Enjoy your party!

I hope you have a wonderful celebration. Just remember forty is the new thirty. Be sure in all that running around to take a little time to relax and enjoy all the folks in your life.

1, a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Wish I was there to celebrate with you...(any excuse will do).

2, can't wait for your soup recipe. I made one once and I have no idea of the recipe I used, but it was awesome.

3, I noticed 'bummed' in your label list and laughed. I'm still trying to work out how to 'make the most of it' at 47...uggh

4, thanks for you enthusiastic comments about my photos. I'm thrilled that everyone though they were great. Please go ahead and print what you want. I took about 100 that day, so there'll be more coming. If you could lmk how they print out you would be doing me a huge favour, and maybe show me how they look on your wall. They were only shot with a point & shoot, so I'm not sure of the quality when blow up.

5, I'll get back to you about the walking :):)

You lost me at 'blue bummed beastie' because now all I'm picturing is Smurfette.

Mmmm. Smurfette.

I forget where I was going with this.

Glad you had a good time, despite the teeny weeny hiccoughs which I am sure no-one except you even noticed!

Missed you at yoga today, hope the wee one is better soon.
