Children are what make Christmas so special. I remember making decorations with my mom, and helping her bake her Christmas goodies. Memories i still treasure, as will your children. Your home is lovely, Helen. And i still say you should write and illustrate children's books. You're too talented not to. ;) Lizzy

I can feel the excitement in your photos. I want to hang my stocking on your fireside.

Good morning (afternoon for you!) Helen ....

You said it was foggy there this morning--here on the coast of Virginia it's very wet drippy rainy with a bright gray sky. Cozy by the fire. I'm weird but I love the winter!

Your house looks happy & festive! It's always cheerful over here ....I love coming by. Hope your day is going well!

Helen,
Not only can you write, you can draw and you can cook. Girl, what can't you do? I'm jealous!!! Your home looks lovely and Christmasy (is that a word? It is now). I'm in California and it's raining. YAY, we so need it. Really enjoyed the visit. Someday, I'll join you folks and post some pictures. Have a wonderful day.

I do love the girl with bird - well worth 3 images. Is it a card? A ceramic print? A paper print?

mimbles, thank you hon! The kids did most of it.

ER, aw, thank you. I hope my kids have those memories.

Grannymar, there is still space you know! ;O)

Protege, I loved yours. The tree is too big really but we love it. :O)

5th sister, thank you so much.

Brainella, I agree!

Laurie, thank you; I like winter when it is cold with blue skies and a crisp, clear day. The freezing, rainy fog, not so much...*L*

Sonya, thanks! I was pretty chuffed with the decorations we made but honestly, they were quite simple, considering how they turned out. The kids were well impressed with their own work.

Shelley (Peanut Butter Kitty), hon, you are far too kind. Someone posted about people being a jack of all trades and master of none; that probably describes me quite well. *L* I'm glad it's started raining, it's been a while, hasn't it? Not something we ever have to worry about of course!

Matty, that is so kind,

Frau, thank you! You too hon.

'When did I become my mom', yup, me too! xx

Life with Kaishon, you too hon and thank you.

mise, I'm now embarrassed to tell you I drew it on canvas, especially now it looks like shameful self-promotion...3 pics is a bit much! *L* But sometimes, a pic just works out and I do like it.

So cute...and I'm sure your children were jumping up and down saying can I do this one. My little ones used to drive me crazy. Is that your drawing, I love that. Now forget photos I wish I could draw & paint.
