Semi-Wordless Wednesday

It's bleedin' snowing again.   I've decided to embrace it fully;  no complaining, no effigies this time around...I'm going to don a pair of green, flowery wellies and go build a snow cat.   I'm going to walk in it, singing Jingle Bells at the top of my lungs.   The neighbours look at me strange anyway, it shouldn't make much difference.

So here's to the snow!   Put on a hat, a thick pair of gloves and go out in it, enjoying it whilst you can because when that heatwave hits, you'll be praying for some of the white stuff.

Or should I just stay in...........?

The kids on their way to school this morning

But it's spring inside

Chicken and rice soup; perfect for today's lunch

Sleeping dollies...awww.

Tulips
Last night's roast chicken

Oh daffy, if you'd only heid yer hing
I'd have a word to rhyme with spring.

Camembert Cheese & Pesto Tart with pine nuts...leftover pie!

The kids at the People's Palace, Glasgow Green last week

My angry donkey impression...
.yeah, I've heard the one about how I should be at the other end already....

I'd like to see you on Dragon's Den with those lovely sleeping dollies. You'd be a worldwide sensation. Give me a shout when your episode comes up.

Lovely pictures.;))
I am with you on the snow, we received another load the day before yesterday and my garden is buried.
I wish for spring NOW.
Still, I can not get way from the fact that the snowy landscape looks absolutely beautiful.

All your spring blooms are so pretty... makes me start itching to get out and plant all my pots on the front porch... never mind the fact that we may get some more snow tonight! :)

I love the idea of singing Jingle Bells after Valentine's Day. I also want to decorate my next Christmas tree with Halloween decor, so maybe I'm just as weird as you!

And a snow-cat! YAY!

I've become the crazy old woman here forcing my kids to listen to the lone bird song in the morning. "Just listen! Spring will be here soon." It's just not the way they want to awaken, I guess.

mise, well, mibbe not Dragon's Den but you and Unknown Mami and the others who have been so complimentary have inspired me; I've been setting up a website for some time for my art, jewellery etc. so I'm going to make the dolls for sale too! So thank you hon, you're an inspiration and a great support. xx

Protege, I love your positivity! You're right, it is beautiful. I will embrace this flurry but if there is any more, I'm jumping on a plane to the first hot location I can find. ;O)

Kristina, that's the problem, the false sense of security; here comes spring...no wait a minute....grr. ;O) Thank you hon. x

Jaboopee, thank you so much. The pesto concoction was delicious. x

Virginia Mom, I can't wait to do that either!

Pamela, a girl after my own heart! x

Caution flag, I have a special lamp that plays birdsong for me...*LOL* The birds aren't exactly chirping yet, poor wee things.

Shelle, hi hon! You are so right. Might as well love it than hate it! x

Great pictures!! It was snowing here in Ohio today. But I still put on my flips flops and went to the tanning bed.

I hate snow but I also hate when it is boiling outside. Spring is nice.

What a great blog! Damn I wish I could feed my family of five for 50 (euros) Unfortunately one of them is a 17 year old boy who does that much in a day, hehe!
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and leaving your lovely comment:)

Hi Helen. Nice place you have here!

My beloved father-in-law who recently passed was from Scotland by Glasgow. He and his parents came through Ellis Island in 1923.

He used to say grace complete with the Scottish words. I loved it.

You know, I've decided, I'm definitely moving in with you. Spring flowers, pots of soup, roast chicken, a lovely warm welcoming feel. Why am I still in my own home I wonder?
