Food Fit for a Fortnight

I decided to double up this week, i.e. at least 14 days worth of food as we have quite a lot of activities planned and my husband will be working so shopping a lot isn't on the menu. I have planned to make the following dinners:

Both A&C:

Stuffed Potato Patties (with mince) and steamed vegetables
Roast Chicken with rice stuffing and steamed vegetables with roasted root veg
St. Tropez Chicken with rice and cous cous
Penne Pasta and Homemade Bread
Lentil Soup with sandwiches
Macaroni Cheese and garlic bread
Bacon, Eggs, Beans, homemade Potato Scones and homemade bread.
Frittata and Salad.

Adults only:

Salad Nicoise (Brian's strictly without anchovies and capers!)
Lamb Chops with homemade sticky BBQ sauce served with mashed potatoes
Chilled Carrot and Grapefruit soup with olives and hazelnuts (I know, I know but I saw a Michelin starred, unpretentious chef cook it on Saturday morning kitchen and I want to try it)with Ciabatta and Chicken with mustard or mayo
Vegetable curry
Antipasti
Egg n'chips

Children only:
Omelette and potato wedges with salad
Baked hotdog rolls with chips ala Heston Blumenthal (he was on SMK too...)
Tuna Salad and Baked Potato
Mince and Tatties
Chicken Noodle soup

Lunches will be a variety of soups, sandwiches, antipasti and toast and beans. Breakfast will be cereal, pancakes, french toast, homemade bread and jam, toast and marmalade and porridge.

I plan to make one lovely cake...maybe two and a batch of cookies; I can't decide.

The new fridge comes tomorrow...yup, we never did get it fixed...and I can't wait to have a fully functioning cold, white fridge once again. Oh happy days.

Vintage Kitten...not bad at all, eh? I have some ingredients already of course but that's the good thing...stuff leftover from previous shopping is already accounted for.

S Not Mom-a-licious...thanks! Just dropped by your blog.

Hi Helen,
You are an inspiration! I really like when I plan menus, shop and always know what I'm going to cook on a given night!
