The Time Traveller's Wife

Last night, I saw The Time Traveller's Wife at the cinema. I thought it was simply wonderful. My eyes were constantly tearful and there was some bubbling going on, just behind me. Eric Bana reminded me so much of Harrison Ford, I'm now convinced that somehow, someway, they are related if not actual father and son.

Rachel McAdams who played Claire...what a beautiful girl....just lit up the screen, especially her first scene when she spots Henry (Bana) for the first time; well, the first time for him although she had known him since she was six. The look on her face when she realises it is her Henry...she is surprised, incredulous even and then slowly a smile starts to form, taking over her entire face until she is grinning from ear to ear, her face lit up like a Christmas light. it did the book justice.

I shall be doing a curry tonight. I'm thinking chicken thighs in a tomato base with homemade chapatis. Watch this space.

This is Fraser this morning:

He is much better although still coughing.

This is the weather today:

I am so excited about getting out into the sunshine. I hope the sun shines wherever you are, if not outside, then inside.

I'm glad you enjoyed the movie. I haven't seen it yet, but will if it is still playing here.

I'm also glad to see your little one up and about -- did anyone else catch his bug. I hope not.

Oh I got chills reading your post - It is one of my favourite books and It sounds like the movie has done the book justice! It's not out here yet (Australia) but will be rushing to the cinema to see it as soon as it does!
And...well...Eric Bana - he is one of our BEST exports and a fantastic actor.

Glad Frazer is better and the sun is shining for you!
